Go visit Coney Island in Northern Ireland!
Today I was listening intently to Open Country a radio programme broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Today's topic was Beautiful Coney Island situated on the south west corner of Lough Neagh. This picturesque part of Northern Ireland should definitely be on your travel itinerary. Why? Because of the unspoilt natural beauty of the local landscape. The place has inspired a German to live and work there for the past eleven years. He makes currach boats there.Explore the fauna and flora of Coney Island where you will be surprised and excited by the diversity of the plants and animal species.
You can listen to the programme by going to the Listen Again Page which you will find on the top right of the BBC Radio 4 web page. Happy listening!
